I am going to go against my better judgement and install Everquest 2 : Trial of the Isle. Actually I am almost done installing it. Now how could I go do such a thing being the SOE hater that I am? Well for starters I'm bored and need an MMORPG fix and EQ2 seems to be a better option that resubscribing to World of Warcraft.
Also I would like to see EQ2 pumped up on my new system which should show the game off compared to when I played it on my older PC.
I doubt EQ2 will turn into a subscription for me, but I figured I mine as well try the game as it is now before it goes through its major class changes. Then I can return after the changes with a bit of perspective and see if its something that has enhanced the newbie experience of EQ2.
One final note: yes I'm contradicting myself.
For what its worth, I am a 'time limited' casual, PvP oriented, usually solo, player. I also have a blog, a dog, and a family. Don't forget the _ , because without it you just have heartless.
